We recently became aware that one of the therapy companies with whom we contract has withheld payments to their therapists and has indicated that this is related to non-payment by the agencies it serves.
We understand how concerning information like this can be, and we want to provide reassurance and clarification to the therapists, caregivers, employees, and contractors who work with Touch of Class as well as to our valued clients.
There has been NO interruption in processing and making payments from Touch of Class to our vendors, employees, Therapists, or contractors. We remain committed to meeting our financial obligations, just as we have throughout our many years in business. Touch of Class has proudly served Texans for decades, and we look forward to continuing that commitment for many years to come.
Regarding the therapy company in question, Touch of Class has received multiple legal notices requiring us to direct payments otherwise payable to that company to one or more of its creditors. As a result, we are legally obligated to comply with those instructions and cannot send those funds directly to the therapy company.
Any decision by that company to withhold payments from its therapists is a decision made by that company and is not the result of Touch of Class failing to make payments or meet its financial obligations.
We greatly value the therapists who provide services to our clients, and we understand the importance of timely and dependable payment for the work you perform. We wanted to address this situation openly so that our therapists have accurate information and reassurance regarding Touch of Class.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact your local Touch of Class office. Contact information for each office can be found on the Locations page of our website.
